First of all I looked at Alfred Hitchcock who is very well known for his films such as 'Psycho' and 'The Birds' We looked at his specific style and saw a few things that he had in common with his films. Hitchcock often uses close up on faces to show more emotion rather than wide shot angles
Another Thing we found Hitchcock does a lot in his movies was Camera is not a camera, He often uses this technique to show how someone maybe panning the room for something as if the camera was some ones eye.
Another thing Hitchcock does is how his characters break the cliche, for example Make all of your characters the exact opposite of what the audience expects in a movie. Turn the dumb blonde into a smart blonde, and all the criminals must be rich and successful. They should have unexpected personality's which makes them more realistic for the audience.
